Design & Features

While the iPhone XI release date is not yet here – we can easily say that this model looks remarkable. You will see how much work Apple put into it at first sight.

The Moto G7 Plus Amazon, in contrast with this one, offers 16MP in the main camera along with the same 5MP depth dual option. But this doesn’t mean that the standard Moto G7 is worst – in fact, it only means that you’re getting a slightly better cost.

But the Moto G7 is not the best image taker out there (even though it is a steal for the cost). You will get decently-looking photos and videos, that shouldn’t be a problem. And it comes even truer when you consider that 4K video is actually a possibility – which is simply fantastic for the cost.

The cameras stick to the bright side, though. All images and videos have a huge HDR and brightness that makes sure you can enjoy all the imagery much more effectively. Even at low-light, you can perceive anything much nicer.

The two rear cameras are extra decent for the price. But what really stands out is the 5MP front camera.

It is not the best selfie-taker in the market, but it’s still an excellent choice if you like quick photos.

Battery

As for the battery, you won’t lack any comfort with quality and capacity. You will get 12 hours of power every day – but you can get much more if you know how to save it.

This happens thanks to its 3,000mAh capacity which endures tons of usage. You won’t have to be constantly bringing your charger back and forth which is something we absolutely hate about some phones.

But the real advantage comes from the Turbopower charging method. Coming back from previous models, this system allows you to charge the phone in 50 minutes. You won’t believe how fast this phone charges until you try it.

Many people often talk about the Moto G7 Android One – and it is not true. You won’t get Android One with the Moto G7 but with the Motorola One Action – which a way different phone.

Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor is releasing two new cellphones targeted at the middle and lower segments. The two cellphones are Honor 20S and Honor Play 3. Both of these Honor smartphones carry different specifications. Honor 20S is somewhat higher than Honor Play 3. It is positioned as the “lite” version of Honor 20, while Honor Play 3 is touted as a challenger to the Redmi Note 8 in the entry-level segment.

Honor Play 3

Honor Play 3 is targeted at lower segments than the Honor 20S. However, Honor is still confident calling this device a “gaming” flagship at a low price. The screen is stretched 6.39 inches with IPS LCD panel (1,560 x 720 pixels). The front of the Honor Play 3 looks similar to the Honor 20s thanks to the cameras which are both perched in the upper left corner. The Honor Play 3 selfie camera in the punch hole has an 8-megapixel resolution. On its back, there is triple cameras perch which consists of a 48 megapixel (f / 1.8) camera along with the 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera. The Honor Play 3 performance relies on the Kirin 710 combined with 4GB RAM and 6GB with 64GB to 128GB internal.

You can even check the score on GeekBench and we have found that it got a score of about 14.936 during the synthetic test for the overall performance. Basically, this score is enough for such a high-end laptop because most premium laptops only achieve 12.400 scores with Intel Core i5.

But, when we compare it to MacBook Pro and Razer Blade Stealth, the DELL XPS 13 is not that good because MacBook Pro gets score 17,248 while the Razer Blade Stealth gets 15,878.

We also have tested the DELL XPS 13 to run Excel Spreadsheet Macro to pair about 65000 names and it took one minute and 5 seconds to process it. If we compare it to Microsoft Surface 2, the DELL XPS 13 wins it for a few seconds. But, it cannot still beat the Stealth which can finish it within 22 seconds only.

Meanwhile, when we tried to copy files with the capacity of 4.9 GB, the DELL XPS 13 can finish it in only 9 seconds with the transfer rate about 565 Mb/s. In this case, the DELL XPS 13 is quite fast in copying the multimedia file which is better than the average laptop.

It is even better than the Microsoft Surface 2 which can only copy files about 203 MBps. For the top speed, we still have the MacBook Pro with its SSD drive which can transfer data up to 2,5 Gbps.

Video Performance

We also have conducted some test over the video rendering where the DELL XPS 13 can play 4K video. In this case, this laptop can transcode 4K to 1080p within 20 minutes only. It is even better than the Stealth which can only finish it in 20 minutes 34 seconds. But, we still have the winners, they are the MacBook Pro which can finish it 14 minutes.

Can DELL XPS 13 play heavy games? Well, the processor and the RAM are enough to support heavy games playing, but you should not expect too much when checking the graphics. It is not recommended to play graphically taxing games such as Destiny 2 and Battlefield V on DELL XPS 13 because it is only equipped with Intel UHD 629 Graphics.

Somehow, you can still play some older games. Anyway, DELL XPS 13 can only run at 1920 x 1080p with 88 fps on the dirt 3 benchmark. It is even better than the MacBook Pro which can only run up to 47 fps. But, we cannot compare it to Stealth because it uses NVIDIA GeForce MX 150 which can run up to 164 fps.

Keyboard and TouchPad

We do not expect too much on its performance, especially when you want to have such a gaming laptop because DELL XPS 13 is not a gaming laptop. It may be good for multitasking or office job. So, we would better check the touchpad and the keyboard function. Anyway, there is no such surprising design on its keyboard.
